We have designed our retreats like an MOT for the mind, with activities to fuel the heart and soul, as well as the tools needed for relaxation, growth, and self-reflection. If you need some time away to focus on yourself this might be exactly what you need to gain clarity, prioritise, and replenish yourself from the inside out.

MORNING MINDFULNESS EXPERIENCE

A 3-HOUR EXPERIENCE 9.30am – 12.30pm

Mindfulness is the skill of learning to be more present in the current moment. It’s not always easy, and life can actively pull you in the opposite direction. If you feel like your mind struggles to be calm, or you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or just need some time out for yourself, this might be perfect for you.

This experience will incorporate meditation, breathwork, mindful movement through slow movement yoga, and an (optional) cold water dip to leave you feeling on a high. We will take you on a mindful journey to a calm state, one where you feel more at peace, relaxed, and connected to yourself.

This event differs from our 1-day experiences as there is no coaching or presentations involved, just the magic of the practical side of our events. You can show up as you are, and enjoy the experience.

Suitable for all levels, complete beginners welcome. It’s the perfect event to bring a friend or family member with you, or come solo – it’s usually 50/50 split between solo guests and friends/couples.

We can take groups of friends, families, or colleagues on a personalised retreat journey. The retreat is designed specifically for what the group needs, so is completely tailor-made.

We can focus on personal growth, yoga, cold water experiences mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, walking, good food, detox/intermittent fasting, fitness, wellness/health, outdoor adventure/experiences, self-reflection, self-love, healing, decision-making, coaching techniques, group work, relationships, or any unique combination of these.

  • Minimum 4 x guests for a 1-night stay.
  • Location will vary depending on the enquiry. We have multiple partner venues we can use, so if you’re not sure, we can suggest options.
  • We will start with a Zoom brainstorming call (30 minutes) to discuss the needs of the group, we will then put together a template schedule.
  • The benefit of this is you can personalise it as much as you want to, you steer the content and we can make relevant suggestions as to what might be good for the group.

This is a wonderful option for people who need that little extra care and attention, or just prefer a smaller group setting. Maybe it’s a group that has something to work through, maybe a family celebration, or a team that needs some work on communication and team building. We also work with couples and can tailor-make retreats for healing specific to that situation.

Asked Questions

No. Most people will be travelling alone so our pricing for private rooms is for one traveller. Or, you can choose to share a twin room (where applicable).

Yes! We want to make coming on retreat as accessible as possible, so once the deposit is paid we can work with you on a personalised payment plan to make it easier for you. The balance however must be fully paid 6 x weeks before the check-in date as this is when we pay our suppliers.

Don’t worry, there is no pressure to take part in group activities, whilst we recommend them, if you want some alone time to relax, that’s perfect too. This is your time for you, so you do what you feel is right.

Should you cancel your booking at any time your deposit will be non-refundable due to admin and resale costs, but any additional payments made will of course be refunded to you, unless the retreat is less than 6 weeks away, in which case no refund or transfer is possible as we will have paid suppliers in advance. Should we have to cancel the retreat for any reason, you will receive a full refund including the deposit, or have the option to move it to another retreat date (depending on availability). We strongly advise all guests to organise personal travel insurance.

It’s very unlikely you’ll feel uncomfortable (based on our experience!) Approx 70% of our guests will come solo, and it’s lovely to have a bunch of like-minded people all together, I have friends from all over the world that I made on retreats and this is something we hope you won’t have to worry about. It’s ok to feel nervous, that’s normal, just re-frame it as excitement for doing something new and you’ll be ok. We will look after you!

We recommend comfortable clothes for lounging in, walking shoes or good trainers for group walks, a waterproof jacket – it is Scotland after all! Yoga or gym clothing for practice (if you are taking part) and something to get cosy in the evenings in. Things like slippers and hot water bottles are welcome! We also recommend a journal and pen and anything that helps you relax and unwind.

All of our retreats are suitable for beginners. Don’t let being new to something discourage you, yoga is for everyone, and likewise for meditation and mindfulness. No experience today is a starting point to build on. The new practice will be the experience you have for tomorrow.

Usually, on residential retreats we keep it no more than 12 so we can keep it an intimate experience. We will have 1-4 staff depending on the event and size. On the day retreats, numbers are currently from 12-24 people, but this can change depending on the venue we are using, sometimes we host small, intimate retreats from a minimum of 4 x people depending on the theme and venue.

It’s very unlikely as we put a lot of effort into the menus (food is really important to us), the only thing we ask is that any allergies and intolerances are made clear as early as possible after you book so we can plan accordingly. The food will vary per retreat so just email us with any specific info you’d like to know.

A 30% deposit is needed to secure your place and hold your room. (This may change for any locations outside Scotland) The balance needs to be paid fully latest 6 x weeks in advance, but you can make payments up until then at any point. We can discuss this with you to spread the cost if that makes it more manageable.

Yes! We’re hosting our first Global retreat in Sept 2024 which has now sold out. We are currently looking into 2025 retreats. These will be released soon!

Of course! We find a lot of people come with their loved ones, sharing experiences like this are so beneficial because you are both outside of everyday life and can focus on just yourselves. It’s a wonderful way to share some quality time.
